Engineers Day is celebrated every year on 15th September to mark the birth anniversary of Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya.
Sir M Visvesvaraya was awarded the ‘Bharat Ratna’ in 1955.
He has also been awarded ‘British Knighthood’.
He served as the Diwan of Mysore from 1912 to 1918.

Anand Kumar, the founder of Super-30 of Patna, Bihar has been conferred with Swami Brahmanand Puraskar 2021.
Swami Brahmananda Puraskar: This award is given annually to people doing special work in the field of education or for the welfare of the cow.
Prize Money: Rs 10,000 in cash, a bronze medal, a bronze statue of Swami Brahmananda and a certificate
Anand Kumar is the third person to receive this award.
Before her in the year 2019, German woman Friedrich Irina Bruning has been awarded the first Swami Brahmananda Award for Go Seva.
In the year 2020: Educationist Dr. Arun Kumar Pandey
Anand Kumar has also been honored with the ‘Sarabhai Teacher Scientist National Honorary Award 2021’.

He played his last international match against West Indies in the year 2020.
Malinga has already retired from Test cricket in 2011 and ODIs in 2019
He is the fourth highest wicket taker behind Dwayne Bravo, Imran Tahi and Sunil Narine.
Malinga has played for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

England becomes first country to mandate installation of EV chargers in new homes

Recently, England has announced the introduction of a law that will make it mandatory for new homes and offices to provide electric vehicle (EV) chargers.
With this law, England will become the first country to make the installation of EV chargers mandatory in all new homes.
UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced a ban on the sale of fossil fuel vehicles from 2030.
Also a ban on gasoline vehicles was initially proposed for 2040.
