Gallantry awards were announced on 15th August 2021 on the occasion of 75th Independence Day.

Kirti Chakra: Altaf Hussain Bhat (Constable)
Shaurya Chakra: Shahbaz Ahmed (Special Police Officer of Jammu and Kashmir Police – SPO)

All three were posthumously honored with these awards for their gallantry.
President Ram Nath Kovind has approved 144 gallantry awards
These include 1 Ashok Chakra, 1 Kirti Chakra, 15 Shaurya Chakras, 4 Sena Medals for Gallantry, 116 Sena Medals (Gallantry), 5 Navy Medals for Gallantry and 2 Vayu Sena Medals.

75 new Vande Bharat trains to be launched to connect different parts of the country

On the occasion of 75th Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced that 75 new Vande Bharat Express trains will be introduced to connect different parts of the country in the 75th week of Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi.
Two Vande Bharat Express trains are currently running in the country.
The first between Varanasi and New Delhi.
The other is between Katra and New Delhi.

Indian Navy participated in the multinational military exercise “SEACAT”

The exercise was conducted in Singapore.
SEACAT exercise was first conducted in 2002.

Announcement of 4 new districts and 18 tehsils in Chhattisgarh

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has announced the formation of 4 new districts and 18 new tehsils in the state on the occasion of Independence Day.
4 new districts:
Mohla-Manpur,
power,
Sarangarh-Bilaigarh,
manendragarh

With the formation of these districts, the total number of districts in the state has gone up to 32.
The Chief Minister has announced that a park for women only will be developed in all district headquarters and municipal corporations.
Which will be named ‘Minimata Udyan’ after the first woman MP of Chhattisgarh ‘Minimata’ in 1952.
Along with this, ‘Mukhyamantri Affordable Medicine Scheme’ is applicable in urban areas to provide medicines at affordable prices to the people of the state.
Now this scheme will be known as ‘Shri Dhanwantri Yojana’.
