तमिलनाडु सरकार ने सरकारी कर्मचारियों के लिए सेवानिवृत्ति की उम्र बढ़ाई
तमिलनाडु में पलानीस्वामी सरकार ने सरकारी कर्मचारियों के रिटायरमेंट की उम्र एक साल बढ़ा दी है. अब सरकारी कर्मचारी 60 साल की उम्र में रिटायरमेंट ले पाएंगे. इसके पहले की रिटायरमेंट उम्र 59 साल थी.
इसका लाभ सरकारी कर्मचारियों, अनुदान प्राप्त शिक्षा संस्थानों, सरकारी उपक्रमों व नगरीय व पंचायत निकायों को होगा. जो कर्मचारी 31 मई 2021 को सेवानिवृत्त होने वाले थे, उन्हें भी एक वर्ष और सेवा का अवसर मिलेगा.
The Palaniswami government in Tamil Nadu has increased the retirement age of government employees by one year. Now government employees will be able to take retirement at the age of 60. Prior to this, the retirement age was 59 years.

भारत की पहली अंडरसी रोड टनल (समुद्र के नीचे सुरंग) मुंबई में निर्मित की जा रही है, इसका निर्माण कार्य वर्ष 2023 पूर्ण होने की उम्मीद है। ये जुड़वाँ टनल शहर की ‘तटीय सड़क परियोजना’ का हिस्सा हैं।
‘मुंबई तटीय सड़क परियोजना’ का विस्तार मरीन ड्राइव से लेकर बांद्रा-वोर्ली सी लिंक तक है। इसके एक हिस्से के रूप में इस टनल का निर्माण किया जा रहा है।
इस टोल-फ्री मार्ग के द्वारा दक्षिण मुंबई को उत्तर से जोड़ने की योजना है, जिससे यातायात के सुगम होने की उम्मीद है। यह देश की पहली अंडरसी रोड टनल है, जो गिरगाँव चौपाटी के पास अरब सागर से होकर गुजरेगी।
विश्व की बड़ी अंडरसी टनल के विपरीत मुंबई की टनल को अपेक्षाकृत उथली गहराई में बनाई जा रही है। विदित है कि चैनल टनल, इंग्लैंड और फ्रांस को जोड़ती है।
India's first undersea road tunnel (under-sea tunnel) is being constructed in Mumbai, its construction work is expected to be completed by the year 2023. These twins are part of the 'coastal road project' of the city.

Unlike the world's large undersea tunnel, Mumbai's tunnel is being built at a relatively shallow depth. It is known that the Channel Tunnel connects England and France.

The US rating agency Moody's has changed its forecast of the economy growth released for India, now Moody's expects the Indian economy to be negative by 7 percent in FY 2020-21 (FY21). This is lower than its previous estimate of 10.6 per cent. पुडुचेरी में राष्ट्रपति शासन को कैबिनेट ने मंजूरी दी
केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने पुडुचेरी में राष्ट्रपति शासन लगाने के प्रस्ताव को मंजूरी दे दी है। विश्वास प्रस्ताव के बाद पुडुचेरी में कांग्रेस के नेतृत्व वाली सरकार सत्ता से बाहर हो गयी थी। यह निर्णय किसी भी पार्टी द्वारा सरकार बनाने का दावा नहीं करने के कारण किया गया, जिसके बाद उपराज्यपाल तमिलिसाई साउंडराजन ने राष्ट्रपति शासन की सिफारिश की थी।
अब इसे मंजूरी के लिए राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंद के पास भेजा जाएगा। राष्ट्रपति से मंजूरी मिलने के बाद केंद्र शासित प्रदेश पुडुचेरी विधान सभा को भंग कर दिया जाएगा। इससे पहले, 1991 और मार्च-जुलाई के बीच पुडुचेरी में राष्ट्रपति शासन लागू हुआ था जब जेडी-डीएमके गठबंधन सरकार गिर गई थी।

The Union Cabinet has approved the proposal to impose President's rule in Puducherry. The Congress-led government in Puducherry was voted out of power following the motion of confidence. This decision was taken by no party claiming to form the government, after which Lieutenant Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan recommended President's rule.
Now it will be sent to President Ramnath Kovind for approval. The Union Territory of Puducherry Legislative Assembly will be dissolved after approval from the President. Earlier, President's rule came into force in Puducherry between 1991 and March-July when the JD-DMK coalition government fell.
President's Rule
President's rule is the suspension of state government in India. President's rule is imposed according to Article 356 of the Constitution. It is imposed when the state government is unable to act as per the constitutional provisions. Subsequently, the executive power is exercised by the Governor appointed by the Center. Governors may also appoint other administrators to assist them. Under President's rule, the Council of Ministers is dissolved and the Chief Minister's office is vacated. Till now, Chhattisgarh and Telangana are the states where President's rule has not been imposed.

A space supply ship, 'S.S. Cygnus NG-15 Cargo as Catherine Johnson is named in honor of Catherine Johnson, a black NASA mathematician who was instrumental in the success of the first US crew spaceflight, the Mercury-Atlas 6 mission. Ss Catherine Johnson arrived on February 22, 2021 and will remain at the International Space Station until May 2021.
Mrs Johnson was a leading mathematician, known for her handwritten calculations. He helped astronaut John Glenn, who became the first American to orbit the Earth, after personally verifying the orbital trajectory calculations of his Mercury missions. His contribution was also featured in the Oscar-nominated film Hidden Figures.
सोशल मीडिया विनियमन पर केंद्र सरकार के नए दिशानिर्देश
केंद्र सरकार ने 25 फरवरी 2021 को फेसबुक, ट्विटर जैसे सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म और नेटफ्लिक्स, अमेजन प्राइम जैसे ओवर द टॉप (ओटीटी) प्लेयर का दुरुपयोग रोकने के लिए दिशा-निर्देश जारी कर दिए। इसे “सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी (मध्यवर्ती दिशानिर्देश और डिजिटल मीडिया नैतिकता संहिता) नियम 2021” कहा जा रहा है। इसके तहत सरकार द्वारा चिह्नित की गई किसी भी सामग्री को 24 घंटे के भीतर हटाना होगा। साथ ही देश में त्रिस्तरीय शिकायत निवारण तंत्र बनाना होगा। ट्विटर और व्हाट्सएप जैसे प्लेटफॉर्मों को देश की संप्रभुता और सुरक्षा के खिलाफ राष्ट्रविरोधी संदेशों के मूल स्रोतों की पहचान करनी होगी। अपराध सिद्ध होने पर 5 वर्ष तक की सजा हो सकती है।
नए दिशानिर्देशों को सोशल मीडिया और ओटीटी प्लेटफार्मों को विनियमित करने के उद्देश्य से अधिसूचित किया गया है।
इन नियमों को केंद्रीय मंत्रियों रविशंकर प्रसाद और प्रकाश जावड़ेकर ने सार्वजनिक रूप से पेश किया है।
सोशल मीडिया पर नए दिशानिर्देश सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी अधिनियम, 2000 की धारा 87 (2) के अनुसार बनाए गए हैं।
इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स और आईटी मंत्रालय द्वारा दिशानिर्देशों का भाग- II प्रशासित किया जाएगा।
सूचना और प्रसारण मंत्रालय द्वारा दिशानिर्देशों का भाग- III प्रशासित किया जाएगा।यह भाग आचार संहिता और प्रक्रिया से संबंधित है।
The central government on 25 February 2021 issued guidelines to stop the misuse of social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Over the Top (OTT) players like Netflix, Amazon Prime. It is called "Information Technology (Intermediate Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules 2021". Under this, any material identified by the government will have to be removed within 24 hours. Also, a three-tier grievance redressal mechanism has to be created in the country. Platforms such as Twitter and WhatsApp have to identify the original sources of anti-national messages against the sovereignty and security of the country. Punishment can be up to 5 years if proven guilty.
The new guidelines have been notified with the aim of regulating social media and OTT platforms.
These rules have been introduced publicly by Union ministers Ravi Shankar Prasad and Prakash Javadekar.
The new guidelines on social media have been made as per Section 87 (2) of the Information Technology Act, 2000.
Part-II of the guidelines will be administered by the Ministry of Electronics and IT.
Part-III of the guidelines will be administered by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. This part deals with the code of conduct and procedure.
