विश्व कुष्ठरोग उन्मूलन दिवस: 30 जनवरी
30 जनवरी को विश्व कुष्ठरोग उन्मूलन दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है। इसका उद्देश्य कुष्ठरोग को समाप्त करना तथा कुष्ठरोग से पीड़ित लोगों के साथ होने वाले भेदभाव को समाप्त करना है। कुष्ठरोग से पीड़ित लोग सामाजिक भेदभाव के कारण अक्सर अवसाद का शिकार हो जाते हैं। इसके इलाज के लिए पीड़ित को मल्टी-ड्रग थेरेपी की आवश्यकता पड़ती है, इस थेरेपी के तहत पीड़ित को 6 माह से एक वर्ष तक दवाइयों का सेवन करना पड़ता है।
विश्व में विश्व कुष्ठरोग दिवस जनवरी के अंतिम रविवार को मनाया जाता है, लेकिन भारत में यह दिवस महात्मा गाँधी की पुण्यतिथि पर 30 जनवरी को मनाया जाता है। इस वर्ष के विश्व कुष्ठ दिवस 2021 का विषय “Beat Leprosy, End Stigma and advocate for Mental Wellbeing ” है.
कुष्ठरोग: कुष्ठरोग एक संक्रामक बैक्टीरियल रोग है, यह मायकोबैक्टीरियम लेप्रे के कारण होगा है। यह रोग मुख्य रूप से त्वचा, सम्बंधित तंत्रिकाओं तथा आखों को प्रभावित करता है। भारत सरकार ने इस रोग को समाप्त करने के लिए राष्ट्रीय कुष्ठरोग निवारण कार्यक्रम शुरू किया है। भारत में अब कुष्ठरोग एक सार्वजनिक स्वास्थ्य समस्या नहीं है, इसका अर्थ यह है कि देश में 10,000 लोगों में से 1 व्यक्ति से कम इस रोग से प्रभावित है।

People suffering from leprosy often suffer from depression due to social discrimination. Leprosy: Leprosy is an infectious bacterial disease, it will be caused by Mycobacterium leprae. This disease mainly affects the skin, related nerves and eyes. Leprosy is no longer a public health problem in India, meaning that less than 1 in 10,000 people in the country are affected by the disease.
Airtel ने हैदराबाद में 5G रेडी नेटवर्क की घोषणा की
भारती एयरटेल ने 5G सेवाओं को सफलतापूर्वक प्रदर्शित करने के लिए भारत में पहला दूरसंचार ऑपरेटर बनकर बढ़त हासिल की. भारती एयरटेल ने घोषणा की कि उसने हैदराबाद में एक वाणिज्यिक नेटवर्क पर पांचवीं पीढ़ी (5 जी) की योजना बनाई.
भारती एयरटेल ने बताया कि उन्होंने एक ही स्पेक्ट्रम ब्लॉक में 4 जी और 5 जी नेटवर्क दोनों को संचालित करने के लिए अत्याधुनिक डायनामिक स्पेक्ट्रम शेयरिंग का इस्तेमाल किया.
भारत की प्रमुख दूरसंचार कंपनियों में से एक ने नॉन-स्टैंड अलोन (NSA) नेटवर्क प्रौद्योगिकी के माध्यम से 1800 मेगाहर्ट्ज बैंड में मौजूदा स्पेक्ट्रम को शीर्ष करने में कामयाब रही.
एयरटेल ने दावा किया कि 5 जी नेटवर्क के अपने प्रदर्शन के दौरान फुल-लेंग्थ फिल्म डाउनलोड करने में केवल कुछ सेकंड का समय लगेगा.
कंपनी ने कहा कि 5G नेटवर्क उपयोग में प्रौद्योगिकी की तुलना में समरूपता के 100 गुना होने के साथ पहले प्राप्त गति और विलंबता को दस गुना बढ़ा सकता है.
सरकार दूरसंचार विभाग (DoT) के माध्यम से 2,251 मेगाहर्ट्ज स्पेक्ट्रम की नीलामी 1 मार्च, 2021 से 3.92 ट्रिलियन रुपये की आरक्षित कीमत पर रही है.
सरकार ने दूरसंचार ऑपरेटरों द्वारा 5G के लिए अनुशंसित 3,300-3,600 मेगाहर्ट्ज बैंड में स्पेक्ट्रम को शामिल नहीं किया है.

Bharti Airtel gained the edge by becoming the first telecom operator in India to successfully display 5G services. Bharti Airtel announced that it planned a fifth generation (5G) on a commercial network in Hyderabad.
Bharti Airtel said that they used state-of-the-art dynamic spectrum sharing to operate both 4G and 5G networks in the same spectrum block.
One of India's leading telecom companies managed to top the existing spectrum in the 1800 MHz band through non-stand alone (NSA) network technology.
Airtel claimed that it would only take a few seconds to download a full-length movie during its 5G network performance.
The company said that 5G networks can increase the speed and latency previously achieved by ten times, with the symmetry being 100 times the technology in use.
The government has auctioned 2,251 MHz of spectrum through the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) from March 1, 2021 at a reserve price of Rs 3.92 trillion.
The government has not included spectrum in the 3,300-3,600 MHz band recommended by telecom operators for 5G.

जानी-मानी अर्थशास्त्री जैनेट येलेन अमेरिका के इतिहास में पहली महिला वित्त मंत्री बन गई हैं. येलेन को उप राष्ट्रपति कमला हैरिस ने पद की शपथ दिलाई.
गौरतलब है कि राष्ट्रपति जो बाइडेन की सरकार में कमला हैरिस के रूप में अमेरिका को पहली महिला उपराष्ट्रपति भी मिली हैं. जैनेट येलेन इसके पहले अमेरिका के केंद्रीय बैंक फेडरल रिजर्व की प्रमुख रह चुकी हैं. साल 2014 में वह फेडरल रिजर्व की प्रमुख बनने वाली पहली महिला थीं.

प्रकाश जावड़ेकर ने 2021 को भारत-फ्रांस पर्यावरण वर्ष के रूप में लॉन्च
केन्द्रीय पर्यावरण, वन एवं जलवायु परिवर्तन मंत्री श्री प्रकाश जावड़ेकर और फ्रांस की इकोलॉजिकल ट्रांजिशन मंत्री सुश्री बारबरा पोम्पिली ने नई दिल्ली में भारत-फ्रांस पर्यावरण वर्ष (इंडो-फ्रेंस ईयर ऑफ एंवायरमेंट) को लॉन्च किया. इसका मुख्य उद्देश्य सतत विकास के क्षेत्र में भारत-फ्रांस सहयोग को मज़बूत करना, वैश्विक पर्यावरण संरक्षण के पक्ष में होने वाली कार्रवाई के प्रभाव को बढ़ाना और इसे अधिक से अधिक लोगों तक पहुँचाना है.

टाटा ट्रस्ट ने साल 2020 की जस्टिस रिपोर्ट जारी की है। जिसमें देश में लोगों को न्याय देने के मामले में महाराष्ट्र शीर्ष पर रहा और इसके बाद तमिलनाडु, तेलंगाना, पंजाब और केरल को स्थान मिला है. राजस्थान राज्य 10वें पायदान पर है।
‘टाटा ट्रस्ट’ की एक रिपोर्ट में यह कहा गया है. छोटे राज्यों में (जहां की आबादी एक करोड़ से कम है) त्रिपुरा शीर्ष पर रहा और इसके बाद सिक्किम और गोवा हैं. ‘इंडिया जस्टिस रिपोर्ट’ का दूसरा संस्करण पुलिस, न्यायपालिका, जेल और कानूनी सहायता से संबंधित विभिन्न सरकारी आंकड़ों पर आधारित है
रिपोर्ट में कहा गया है कि भारत में केवल 29 प्रतशित महिला न्यायाधीश है. उच्च न्यायालयों में महिला न्यायाधीशों की संख्या 11 प्रतिशत से बढ़कर 13 प्रतिशत हुई है जबकि अधीनस्थ अदालतों में उनकी संख्या 28 प्रतिशत से बढ़कर 30 प्रतिशत हो गयी है.

The report says that India has only 29 percent female judges. The number of women judges has increased from 11 percent to 13 percent in the high courts, while their number has increased from 28 percent to 30 percent in subordinate courts.

केंद्र सरकार ने 945 करोड़ रुपये की 'स्टार्ट-अप इंडिया सीड फंड स्कीम’ (SISFS) को मंजूरी दे दी है, जिसका उद्देश्य प्रोडक्ट-ट्रायल, मार्केट-एंट्री, प्रूफ ऑफ कॉन्सेप्ट, प्रोटोटाइप डेवलपमेंट और व्यावसायीकरण के लिए स्टार्ट-अप को वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान करना है.
सरकार द्वारा गजट नोटिफिकेशन के अनुसार, 945 करोड़ रुपये की स्टार्टअप इंडिया सीड फंड स्कीम (SISFS) इस साल के 1 अप्रैल से 2025 तक संचालित होगी और इसे भारत भर में चयनित इनक्यूबेटरों के माध्यम से वितरित किया जाएगा. उद्योग और आंतरिक व्यापार संवर्धन विभाग (DIIT) द्वारा इस योजना को लागू किया जाएगा. योजना के तहत निधि का वितरण देश भर में चयनित इनक्यूबेटरों के माध्यम से किया जाएगा. स्टार्टअप को केवल एक बार बीज समर्थन प्राप्त होगा.
