Sania Mirza gets 10-year golden UAE visa, becomes third Indian to get visa

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has granted Golden Visa to India’s famous tennis player Sania Mirza.
Sania Mirza has become the third Indian to get the UAE Golden Visa.
Along with Sania Mirza, her husband and Pakistan cricket team player Shoaib Malik has also been given the Golden Visa of UAE.
Before Sania, Shah Rukh Khan and Sanjay Dutt have got this visa.
The UAE implemented a new visa system in 2019, under which foreign nationals are granted long-term visas to live, work and study in the UAE.
Golden Visa is given for a period of 05 or 10 years.

Nelson Mandela International Day is celebrated by the United Nations on the birth anniversary of Nelson Mandela every year on 18 July.
In 2009, the United Nations General Assembly declared his birthday, July 18 as ‘Mandela Day’ for his contribution to the anti-apartheid struggle.
Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela was born on 18 July 1918 in South Africa.
His mother’s name was Nonkafi Nosekeni and father’s name was Nkosi Mfakaniswa Gadla Mandela.
Mandela was the first black president of South Africa (1994).
Nelson Mandela was called the ‘Gandhi’ of Africa.
In 1990, the Government of India honored him with India’s highest civilian honor ‘Bharat Ratna’.
Mandela is the first foreigner to receive the Bharat Ratna.
In 1993, Nelson Mandela and former South African President Frederick Willem de Klerk ‘de Klerk’ were both jointly awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
He was awarded the ‘Gandhi Peace Prize’ on 23 July 2008.

Tokyo Olympics cheer song ‘Hindustani Way’ released

To encourage the Indian players participating in the Tokyo Olympics, Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur has launched a cheer song named ‘Hindustani Way’.
This song is sung by AR Rahman and Ananya Birla.
126 players will participate in 18 sports from India in Tokyo Olympics.
The Tokyo Olympics will be held from 23 July to 08 August.

NTPC to set up India’s largest solar park in Kutch, Gujarat
