International Tiger Day is celebrated every year on 29 July.
This year the 11th International Tiger Day is being celebrated.
Theme of International Tiger Day 2021: “Their Survival is in our hands”
In 2010, at the Tiger Conference in St. Petersburg, Russia, it was decided to celebrate this day every year on 29 July.
In this conference, a target has been set to double the number of tigers by the year 2022.
