Union Minister Piyush Goyal launched National Single Window System (NSWS)

The Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal has launched the ‘National Single Window System (NSWS)’ for investors and businesses.
National Single Window System: A digital platform that aims to simplify the registration process before starting a business.
Under this, there is no need to go to different offices and get approval.

Recently a 12-member committee has been constituted by the Union Ministry of Education to develop new curricula for school, early childhood, teacher and adult education under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
The panel will be headed by Dr Krishnaswamy Kasturirangan, former chief of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO).
K Kasturirangan was the President of the Indian Space Research Organization from 1994 to 2003.

First state to give order regarding implementation of National Education Policy-2020: Karnataka
The New Education Policy 2020 was announced by the Government of India on 29th July 2020.

Second state to implement National Education Policy (NEP)-2020: Madhya Pradesh
This policy was made and headed by the space scientist K. Kasturirangan.
This is the third National Education Policy of India.
For the first time in the year 1968 and then in the year 1986, the National Policy on Education was formulated.
Under the new education policy, a target of public expenditure of 6% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) has been set.
Under this, instead of 10 + 2, 5 + 3 + 3 + 4 format will be included in schools.

‘Tea Park’ to be set up in Assam to boost tea production

Odisha to host Men’s Hockey Junior World Cup
