‘Neeraj Chopra’ appointed as the brand ambassador of Tata AIA Life

Tata AIA Life Insurance has appointed Neeraj Chopra, the gold medalist at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, as its brand ambassador.
Neeraj Chopra won the gold medal in the men’s javelin throw at the Tokyo Olympics with a throw of 87.58m.
Neeraj Chopra has become the second Indian after Abhinav Bindra (Beijing Olympics 2008 shooting) to win an individual gold medal.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has included Neeraj Chopra in a campaign launched to curb digital banking frauds.

Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani resigns from his post

Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani tendered his resignation to Governor Acharya Devvrat.
Vijay Rupani is the MLA from West Rajkot.
He took oath as the 16th Chief Minister of Gujarat on 7 August 2016.
After this, on 26 December 2017, he became the Chief Minister of Gujarat for the second time.
Recently Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa had also resigned from his post.
He was replaced by Basavaraj Bommai as the new Chief Minister of Karnataka.

In the year 2018, she became the governor of Uttarakhand in place of Krishan Kant Paul.
Earlier she has also been the Mayor of Agra, Uttar Pradesh.

Retired Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh has been made the Governor of Uttarakhand in place of Baby Rani Maurya.

FSSAI gives 5-star ‘Eat Right Station’ certification to Chandigarh Railway Station

The railway station of the Union Territory of Chandigarh has been awarded a 5-star ‘Eat Right Station’ certification by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI).
With this, Chandigarh Railway Station has become the 5th railway station in the country to get this certification.

Rajni Kaul, the first Hindi news broadcaster of the international news service company BBC, has died at the age of 93.
She was the first woman to join BBC Hindi as a staff member
She was also the first woman to read a news bulletin in Hindi on the network in the year 1961.
Rajni Kaul was famous for her program ‘Indradhanush’.
